Please excuse me but I know nothing about carpets. It is just that I went to a viewing for an auction today and saw the most beautiful deep red carpet listed as "Turkoman carpet" measuring about 15 feet by 9 feet. It does appear to be beautifully made and is in great condition. Can anyone give me a very rough guide as to what the least the carpet should be worth? They have an estimate on it of £200 to £300.
