| *Message was: Hi, | I am trying to help a friend find out more about her oriental carpets. She is thinking of selling them and is not sure who to go to for an appraisal. She has a copy of the receipt for 2 of the newer ones that she bought over 20 years ago. What confuses me is the receipt reads Naien-China. From what I understand, Naien is in Iran not China. Are there rugs called Naien from China? They gave her a "free" 2'x3' rug for her purchase and it is listed on the receipt as Chinese silk. She also has an 9.5 x 12.5 Kerman that she bought in the 60's. All of the rugs except for the free one have a high kpi. I can send pictures if it would help. *Follow Ups: |
