NAIN is a small county in the province of ISFAHAN. NAIN is located at the corner of huge desert in central IRAN. County of NAIN contains of three small towns:
- NAIN
- ANARAK
- Khor (BIYBANAK)
County of NAIN is not very populated but their rug production is well known all around the world. There are so many master weavers working in NAIN, but there is only one name that represent NAIN in the world, a name that represent quality, beauty and value. The name is HABIBIAN.
Who is HABIBIAN?
He is getting called "Father of NAIN rugs"
by so many people in the rug business in IRAN.
His name was Fathollah Habibian. He was born in
1903 in NAIN. He waved his first rug when he
still was a young student in NAIN. He sold that
rug in ISFAHAN for 100 tomans (equivalence of
6-kg [13-lb.] silver in today's value). He and
his brother Mohammed started their factory in
1920. They produced many top quality and
excellent visage rug.

| The majority of Real HABIBIAN rugs are sold out.
They were ends up to Europe, the US or
JAPAN. Fathollah's grandsons, "Mahmud Reza Habibi Naini",from his
only daughter still are running the factory
today in NAIN.
Fatollah HABIBIAN passed
away in 1995. HABIBIAN rug are so high valued
that many of local dealers start adding HABIBIAN
signature to their lower quality NAIN rugs. You
can find so many fake signatures in the US
market to day. We are showing you some of the
ones that we find in auction
houses.
One of the indications of HABIAIAN is that they never produce 9 LAA rug! We are going to contact HABIBIAN factory to provide you with "Real Habibian NAIN" in near Future.
